Some years ago a doctor friend of my parents and his wife planned a trip to india for three weeks. Once they got there, within days of arriving they booked a return flight vowing never to go to that filthy dump of a country again.

My sister, back in her free spirited days before she discovered the lust for money was travelling there and managed to step in a puddle of sewage while wearing sandals and having a cut on her foot. She came down with hepatitus and became gravely ill, had to be flown back to the US for a stint in the hospital, and to this day can’t donate blood. So yeah, shit happens.
