So you’d prefer Castle who voted for Crap in Trade? Abortion? Gay marriage?

Is there anything he disagreed with on the Obama agenda?

Why are we bothering to even consider him? He’s not a conservative. He’s barely a republican at all.

Yay, how much is Castle paying you to shill for him. You’ve been pimping him in every Christine thread.

What’s the point of electing Castle and having one-party rule in Delaware? There’s no difference between him and the Democrat.

I got you. I just think we should be careful with her. She is not what people here are building her to be. I wish there was someone else. Media will use her as “tea party” aka Republican brand and hurt us with people we need nationally to win the election. She will hurt other districts as I bet you a million dollars she will be the voice of tea party GOP. She sounds not ready to respond to this.

I am not paid by anybody. You can check out all my threads. I have been a Freeper for long time. I am as Conservative as you get. I just have a different opinion then you on Christine. I feel strongly that media will make her voice of tea party and GOP and will turn off voters. She in my opinion from listening to her horrible sounding, defensive, doesn’t tell the truth well etc... etc... I just not excited about her as she won’t win Delaware and Media will use her against other Republicans and tea partiers. Have you listened to her? http://www.wgmd.com/?p=9496 this is just one of the interviews. She is terrible on most everyone out there I have heard.

Christine won’t win so with a Demorat winning (which will happen) you get that plus with Demorats. Second, Christine is the right message wrong messenger. Media will use her against other candidates to harm GOP.

One, I think she’s very articulate. See her most recent interview. It’s not going to matter who she is, so long as she sticks to her conservative guns she’s going to get flak. Fact of life.

Two, I’d rather have someone who votes the right way and lose than to lose by winning with Castle. You don’t think that Castles ‘bipartisan’ support of Obama is going to hurt the GOP? They are going to drag him out to show people that the Tea Party really are fringe, and all the cool people support crap and trade, etc.

I believe Christine can win, along with Joe Miller. I’m not throwing away a solid chance. I don’t think she’s a longshot and I’ve worked and fought for much longer shots before.

Sometimes you win the battles, sometimes you lose. Lost once with a very solid prolife jewish lawyer, by one vote, in an extremely liberal riding. I think at the beginning he was polling 10 percent or so, behind two other candidates.

I wasn’t referring to you, but the other poster. I know you have a different opinion of Christine O’Donnell. That is fine. I think she’s a solid candidate, and it doesn’t bother me, that like the rest of us, she isn’t rich. That she’s not perfectly polished, eh, I really don’t care.

I’ve ran once myself, despite not really being an accomplished public speaker, and on a shoestring budget. I got taken down the same way and by the same people like you. I was too ‘prolife’ too much of a ‘hick’, despite the fact that I have a professional degree. My riding is ‘hick’ and my support is ‘hick’, so I don’t really see what’s to be gained by pretending to be something I am not.

But the higher ups in the party signed off on my nomination papers and then rescinded them. I managed to get them to sign their names to the explanation, and then leaked that to the press in an interview in a decidedly ‘non-hick’ location.

The fellow they went with got 4 percent of the vote. They were annhilated. He had lots of money and was one of the good ol’ boys though.

For record I can’t stand GOP establishment. I was big supporter of Joe Miller and Marco Rubio and still am. I just got really turned off listening to her and it is Delaware. A Conservative aka Chris Christie would work there, the way she is communicating will not work. Nothing personal against her. I bet you she is nice and has great spirit. Her wealth or lack there of is no issue. The victim hood card played like that is something Democrats do. Which is a big turn off. Just because someone is nice and is right on issues doesn’t mean she or he is ready for this job. This job is to represent people, not just run for office. Since you are a lawyer you should appreciate just because someone is nice etc...doesn’t mean they can win a case. I just want to win. After listening to her on the interviews I got bothered. Believe me I want to support her. Maybe if she wins she will improve, but I doubt it. If she does win nonetheless I will contribute and support her.

I’m a teacher not a lawyer. I am concerned about her filing an anti-discrimination lawsuit, but for me, it’s all about the policies. I like where she stands on the issues. Sure, not all her shit is going to be together, but boiling it down to where the candidates stand, I have to go with O’Donnell.

As a lawyer it’s the same thing. You have to look at the arguments, not the person, or the personality, or how articulate they are, etc.

For me it’s a bonus that O’Donnell is a pretty woman, and I consider it my obligation to stand up for her as a result, because I know plenty of her fellow women are going to be catty and oppose her for no other reason.

Gotya. :) Anyways on a personal level she seems great and a good person. I just wish she interviewed better. If she wins like I said will support her, but I just hope media doesn’t make her poster child for GOP or Tea Party. She hasn’t proven to handle interview or come off well.

And if he jumps, like Jeffords, what then?

I doubt that will happen. When Jeffords jumped, he went Independent. Castle will simply go Democrat.

Ovide Lamontagne, a Mitt Romney Team Leader in 2007.

Ha, I suspected as much, since pissant was cheerleading for Ovide so much. More GOPride stealth candidates.

I think he will. There’s no reason for Castle to stay Republican once he’s in.

We will take the risk.

But defeating Castle is worth it.

You Castle supporters had better realize that fact, we are willing to lose the Senate seat rather than hand it over to a liberal with a 'R' next to his name.
