If Lazio is the party choice, it is truly the Edith Bunker Ostrich Party.

Neither Paladino or Lazio will win in November but I’m not so sure I trust this Paladino guy.

So, the Conservative Party continues to support Lazio? Well, their usual policy is to go with the Republican candidate unless there are serious reasons not to do so—as in the case of Dede Scozzafava.

Lazio is pro-life, I believe. And he didn’t look too bad when he was on Long Island, until he ran against Hillary and messed up big time.

I say vote Paladino. This is an unusual year. An unprecedented year. Normally, Andrew Cuomo would win in a walk, but I’m hoping things may be different this time around. I think Paladino may have a better chance than Lazio. And if he wins the Republican primary, I hope the Conservative Party will rethink their position. Because it would be ludicrous to run Paladino on the Republican Line and Lazio on the Conservative line.

If Lazio is the party choice, it is truly the Edith Bunker Ostrich Party.

Carl P. PaladinoCarl takes his father's advice to heart, and he keeps it simple. As Governor of New York, Carl Paladino will:
1) CUT INCOME TAXES BY 10% BY JUNE 2O11
2) CUT THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT BY 20% BY DECEMBER 2011
3) CUT MEDICAID BY $20 BILLION IN HIS FIRST BUDGET
4) CUT BUSINESS TAXES TO ENCOURAGE JOB RETENTION AND GROWTH
5) REFORM NEW YORK STATE GOVERNMENT AND TAKE BACK OUR STATE
....all this & more on his website....www.paladinoforthepeople.com/.....

We trust Paladino the only pro life candidate.

We do not trust the establishment up here.

> If Carl Paladino wins this thing, it will cause severe damage — it could be for decades — to the Republican Party of New York State.

The Democratic and Rpublican Parties in NY are virtually the same party. The politicians here change back and forth every other election. Paladino scares them because he is a real Conservative.

Lazio is not pro life! When boy lazio ran that stupid campaign against the Hildebest he said this:

Q: Are there circumstances when the government should limit choice?

LAZIO: I had a pro-choice record in the House, and I believe in a woman’s right to choose.

“If Carl Paladino wins this thing, it will cause severe damage — it could be for decades — to the CONSERVATIVE PHONEY Party of New York State,” said Michael Long, the chairman of the State Conservative PHONEY Party.

I cannot believe how corrupt and unprincipled the “conservative” party is—about as bad a joke as the Pat Paulsen STAG Party of the 70s.

One of those times that I suppose you have to have been there. I can’t tell from this article which of these candidates is viable or not.

From the article though:
“In interviews, rattled Republican officials fretted that Mr. Paladino would alarm and motivate Democratic voters who might have otherwise stayed home and assumed a Cuomo landslide, dooming Republicans further down on the ticket.”

This explains why we have been punked by something as feeble and inane as the American left for so long. This is a plan to yield ground more slowly, not take the offensive and exterminate the enemy.

Also from the article:
‘At one point, he did draw attention to Mr. Paladino, if not in the most flattering manner. At the fairgrounds, Mr. Lazio encouraged a reporter to inspect a red pepper that had been dressed up, with toothpicks and slices of radishes, to look like a contorted human face. Its designer had nicknamed the creation “Crazy Carl.”

“Let the record show,” Mr. Lazio said, with evident glee, “that I had nothing to do with that.”’

Is that Lazio’s best shot? If so, I would roll the dice on the Paladino gamble.

Mr. mm told me tonight that he read that Paladino is tied with Lazio for the Republican primary and that Lazio’s primary strategy for dealing with Paladino is to ignore him.

I commented back that that looks like it’s been a big mistake on Lazio’s part, especially considering a newcomer to politics is TIED with him at primary time.

Lazio ought to be sweating bullets right about now.

Paladino just might stand a chance. He’s from Buffalo and Upstate has been so typically ignored and snubbed for so long, that I could see Upstaters voting for him just to tweak the NYC crowd.

I’m really hoping that he gets it. I know some people who know him and they like and trust him.

"“If Carl Paladino wins this thing, it will cause severe damage — it could be for decades — to the Republican Party of New York State,"

New York State has a Republican Party? How come with Gillibrand and Schumer BOTH having to defend their seats, there are no challengers?

Lazio supported the ban on partial-birth abortion, but other than that he is pro-abortion.
