How successful have you been in converting these people?

These are small matters.

The important thing is the entire THRUST of the Quran is one of vioence, intolerance and aggression towards non-believers, something absent in any other religious text I have read.

Islam is a cult and political system masquerading as a religion.

America will perhaps come to realize that Islam will always be radical so long as Islam has the Quran and its Sharia law.

And Islam will not be Islam without them.

You are missing the point here.

The linked video hangs up at about minute 2:06. Here's another copy of the same video which runs clean through the entire eight minutes. [http://thewall.net/view/1332/islam-three-things-you-didnt-know/]

Are you SERIOUSLY comparing ONE book and ONE small section of history relating to something that occurred over 2,000 years ago to a political philosophy which has NEVER changed its goals, tactics and beliefs in over 1500 years, RIGHT THROUGH the PRESENT??

PERSPECTIVE.

The liberal establishment DELIGHTS in obfuscating perspective in historical analyses.

Leviticus covered a limited period in time.

Jews living in non-Jewish countries have no wish to impose Mosaic Law on the societies in which they live.

Christianity as taught by Christ and as it has evolved over the years was decidedly apolitical.

When someone makes a specious claim about the Bible contradicting itself, I usually ask two things: can you share with me one or two examples of this that you assert, AND read the accounts of the trial of Jesus before the Sanhedrin, and note how the different tellers of the story give supporting clues regarding the ‘slap’ Jesus received and subsequent demands. Those accounts were given by different people, who did not have the other aqccounts to use as reference, and were written down to help tell the story of God with us and the purpose of Christ coming in the flesh. So, contrary to contradicting each other, these separate tellings of the same event help to clarify the particulars yet the tellers had no collaboration with eacdh other in time or location when telling their version. THAT is evidence of supernatural authorship at work.

I think you would find this interesting. I am the author. BTW, be sure to read the page "The Least of These." You will never read Matthew 25 the same way again. It was pure midrash.

Ah.... But those are details in the translations. Of course there can be contradictions.

BUT... the principle being conveyed is the same. No contradictions.

No, I am comparing a total system as designed that the Jewish people never fully implemented, nor could have after they returned from Babylon.

If you think the Law is done or "fulfilled" you really do not understand our G_d, much less Paul.

You believe your church instead of having studied the Scriptures. The doctrines you cite were invented by Luther, yes, even the Catholic Church adopted them.

Bottom line, you can't convert another person, God does the converting. There is success, I couldn't place numbers on it because, as the bible says, one man waters, another harvests...so in some cases we were just planting or watering, and in some blessed cases we were honored with harvesting. It's more than a few.

Yes, the Bible was written by different authors over hundreds of years and yet does NOT contradict itself.

Well, one thing I never understood though is why the Old Testament says the savior will be named Immanuel. Jesus and Immanuel are not at all the same, nor are they the same name in different languages.

It also says His name will be “Wonderful, Counselor” but Jesus isn’t there either. Guess we should toss it out!

We are in total danger of annihilation.

No, we're not. I skipped to the end of the Book. I know who wins.

Come on, don’t play dumb. Immanuel and Jesus are real names, not titles or adjectives.

You mean that Jesus wasn't kidding when he said "My kingdom is not of this world."

Well, you’ll just have to ask Him, I suppose.
