The Federal Civil Service is jam packed with communists. They draft these bills for clueless Congress Critters and it doesn't much matter who is elected. Ol’ Boner... our alleged leader is such a lazy bastard that he never does his homework. He only listens to staff and they use him to enact communist platforms. The GOP has no mind and no conservative base so they go right along with staff. Until we destroy the unions and the civil service laws we are slaves to their agenda. Elected Officials mean little to these people. They have power and they are using that power to destroy our America. Only revolution can stop them now...

This is exactly what I suspected they were up to with their “Community” survey and it’s intrusive questions.

I purposely bought acreage and moved to the country when I retired as I had lived in subdivisions all my life and was sick of it.
Now some frigging government simpletons want me to move to the city?
I DON’T THINK SO. COME AND MAKE ME!!

I take it that those in the Congress and Senate and Government will be exempt from these laws.

Of all the reasons I consider myself a conservative, it’s bills like that absolutely chill me to the bone and make me glad I’m one. Hard to explain why.
Maybe it’s just the thought of elitists subtly trying to impose the will upon the rest of us. It’s subtle so they can do without the average person even understanding why.
I hope it doesn’t pass.

I won't say this is nothing to worry about. BUT. Crap like this Bill is introduced all the time. 'Urban Planners' have been pushing this 'urban utopia' junk since the 1970's when I first got into Commercial Construction and Hi Rise Bldgs.
this 'stuff' is an Architect's wet dream. to us it's a nightmare

Sigh. First the government encourages sprawl with all kinds of hidden subsidies, and then it tries to undo it by passing coercive regulation trying to limit sprawl.
Of course, it never dawned on these idiots that the most efficient thing to do is simply remove the hidden subsidies.
It reminds me of financial reform. First the government creates tax incentives that encourage leverage, only to pass coercive regulation trying to limit leverage.
They never learn.
