Displeasure with President Obama in the polls has invaded the merchandising of the U.S. president across the country, souvenir vendors say.
Sellers in Washington said once-vibrant sales of the merchandise hawking the president, from T-shirts to cologne, are nowhere near what they were two years ago when he took office, The Washington Post reported Sunday. "Obamamania" sales peaked between the election and the inauguration,

There is nothing Obama in my home. There never will be.
I counted two 0bama stickers on my way to and from Minneapolis a month ago. 0bama is radioactive, even to the loons. They’re all hiding out on DU. Good.
Well, I'd allow Obama Toilet Paper, Obama Tampons, Obama H./Obmama Suppositories, Obama Doggy Biscuts, Obama Enema Bottles...
Only if you forget to flush. Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)
To be honest there are regularly 'Obam Things' in my house, but they are gone as soon as someone flushes! ;-)
Ugh, I know that Rooters usually doesn’t comprehend basic business, but I usually expect more from the UPI. This is stupid. Of course sales would be highest between election and inaugaration, and of course it would be far lower today. Basic business theory, when the iron’s hot, you strike.
To draw the slightest conclusion from everything following basic trends is idiotic.
There are so many things to attack Obama on, from his cowtowing to our enemies, to his disdain for the American people to the Nanny state policies that wil take generations to undo.
Which leads me to the basic conclusion that this article is just there as a poor attack attempt to appease conservative readers and claim some sort of balance while still pimping all of Obama’s bad ideas.
Surely you have room for a Barack Obama countdown clock to keep track of the number of days till he leaves office.
Sales of these should be pretty brisk by now.

you beat me to it. There is, never has been and never will be ANYTHING with his or her likeness anywhere in or around our home. First of all we dont’ worship presidents...and even if we did...I still wouldn’t have their photos or anything else around.
However, there are NO STATUES, or anything else of anyone in our home except family, good friends and children. Number one however is our Crucifix and that has and always will be number one in our home.
Who would spend good money on some of those cheesy “so called souvenier items?” Especially of someone in the white house and his spouse who go about the country and the world spending money like crazy while telling everyone else they should pull in their belts. Not this person that’s for sure.
We know the priorities in our home and “they” are not here in mind, spirit or anything else. Never will be either. Like I said: “I have no president. That will change later on but for now??? No way, no how. He does NOT represent me or mine.
Question- Whats brown and black and looks good on obama-?!?
Answer- A Rottweiler-!
You’re Welcome-!
You should consider the huge amount of money, the most in the history of American politics, that Obama spent "building his brand" to get elected. That brand, if handled correctly would still be paying out to some degree, but since Obama's "Hope" and "Change" message has turned into such a colossal failure, so too has his selling power.
And if you follow the news enough to make a comment about trends then you should be aware of this item which really highlights the trouble that the "Obama brand" is in...
Obama on vacation, but mostly out of sight
Martha's Vineyard - August 26, 2010
The Locker Room on Circuit Avenue is selling Obama T-shirts, but also a shirt featuring George W. Bush above a caption reading "Miss Me Yet?"
Co-owner Alex McCluskey said the Bush shirts, which have been featured on national TV news shows, are outselling the Obama shirts 2 to 1.
Considering the location of this store is a vacation spot of Obama in Massachusetts - that says a lot!
Finally, I get a little tired of the higher-than-thou attitude some people like to throw around here... this unoriginal idea that "there are so many other things to attack Obama on..." crap. I for one can chew gum and walk at the same time so save it for some other forum that may suit you much better than Conservative Free republic.
