This week Jews across America celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and received holiday greetings from our President that were remarkable for their offensive preachiness. Beyond a perfunctory wish for a sweet New Year, Jews got a lecture on the Two State solution. American Jews were told this is a time to repent, think of those in need, embrace diversity, cultivate humility and compassion, move beyond differences with the Palestinians, and choose the Two State solution.
Not a single word of praise for Judaism or American Jews. Not one. For that matter, after the first sentence, the word Jew does not appear, and Judaism is not mentioned by name at all. Obama doesn’t seem to like speaking about Jews or Judaism. (In his Ramadan message which is one hundred words shorter, the words Muslim and Islam are used seven times.)
For the sake of comparison, look at President George Bush’s 2001 message , or President Reagan’s superb Rosh Hashanah message in 1984.

To appreciate how arrogant Obama’s Rosh Hashanah statement was, compare it to Obama’s words on Christmas, Ramadan, or St. Patrick’s day. St. Patrick’s is a model of normal politic blarney on an ethnic holiday. Obama’s Ramadan message is a weird world of sycophantic praise...

My wife’s co-worker said her ten year old son came home from school on Friday and told her they had discussed 911 that day in class. During recess a ten year old muslim kid told him that a man had lost the lease on the Twin Towers and had gotten mad and bombed the buildings.
Is this what muslim kids are being taught at home and in those mosques being built all over the place? If we continue to “tolerate” this what will this country look like in ten years?
We have a muslim in the white house and only 20% of the people see it. There are no “moderate” muslims and probably less than 20% see it.
I detest this little man and his fat, hideous wife. I can’t wait to see them ejected from the White House. Looks like more and more Americans are feeling the same.

Was his Ramadan message the same to Muslims?? Oh, wait, he endorsed the Ground Zero Mosque when he spoke during Ramadan, didn’t he? Which, if built, will be salt in the wounds of Americans. Is it any wonder that many Americans think he Muslim??
