Exactly. I wish the Pubbies would be more vocal about that - you’ve just given them a great response. I’d also wish they would say that if we don’t extend them they will be tax HIKES, including for those under $250k that Bambi said he would never raise the taxes on.
Newt said he thought the Pubbies should agree to a tax cut for the middle class that Obamba wants, then try to push to extend the cuts for the ‘wealthy/rich’ next year. I just saw the headlines to an article that Boehner said he might agree to this (apparently he said it on TV this a.m.).
I remember reading an article that said that the Pubbies shouldn’t fall for this and it had some good reasons, but I can’t find the article right now.
I think one of the reason is that Ghoulsbee says its OK to borrow money for the middle class and welfare frauds but not for the guys who provide jobs!! Does not make lot of sense.
