That is the gamble maica, IMHO.
Just what do people think when they get a steady and endless barrage of how bad GW/Boehner is 24/7 from the DBM?
This is brain washing/astroturfing at its finest hour being done by the best that the Marxist world has: Axelrod et all.
IMHO, we need to counter it as best we can.
And what we're seeing right now on these Sunday Dreadfuls (that's my name for 'em, and I'll stand by it 'till Heck gets frostbit...) is only the beginning. Hang on to your hats, boys and girls, the Campaign is officially on.
The "news"paper over in Billings has been running desultory little trial balloons for the last six months about those Nasty Evil Teaparty people, but today they let the dogs loose.
Got all of two percent fact to innuendo-oblique-stroke-slander ratio, which is pretty standard fare for the minor league "journalism" practiced by the kiddies, hit every hot button foul name in the Socialist Songbook and even worked in a few jabs at the current US Representative (Sure, he's "R"...) to fill out their weekly quota for the 'Rats.
Must have taken that columnist all of fifteen minutes to transcribe it from the DNC fax. Didn't even have any misspelled words.
Oh, well.
Just when I begin to think that I should pay more attention to their website for the sake of local news, they get an attack of delusions of journalism and produce a crop of cowpies like this. At least I cancelled my subscription to the print paper long ago so I'm only wasting a little time and bandwidth instead of having to run over to town to recycle a bale of bullcrap every other week and have my intelligence insulted in the bargain.
OTOH, they've still got one function.
Absolute Negative Barometer. Whatever they say, take it as crap, pure and undiluted.
IMHO, we need to counter it as best we can.
$$$$$
Yes, we do, but I despair of beating back all the lies that democrats spew and swallow.
Example: they like the soundbite of Republicans having caused the downturn of “the past ten years.” Any thinking person would say “wait a minute, Bush was only president for eight years” [nevermind the Pelosi Congress from 2007, and Obama as prez for the last two years]. “Ten years” sounds like “decade” and sounds like a bad rap on Republicans, so it has become a mantra.
