“16.Boehner is responsible for holding up tax cuts for 98% of the country ignoring once again that they are in control but can’t pass their own legislation since their own side does not want to fall on any more swords. And of course DNC Dave never calls Axel on it.”
How can Boehner and the Pubblies hold up tax cut, when apparently a bill has not yet been written re same?
“Nobody is holding the middle class tax-cuts hostage. Neither the Obama administration nor the Democrats in Congress have presented any bill at this time that addresses the Bush tax-cuts. It is hard to hold hostage a bill that does not exist...”
Here are some other items from the article that dispute some of Obama’s talking points in the speech he gave at the Community college in Ohio this last week (you know the one where they had to round up about 75 students on campus to fill the seats):
“There are few points where the attacks on Mr. Boehner fall flat.
The House Republicans Leader adopted a personal no earmarks policy upon taking office in 1991 that he maintains to this day. Something that President Obama cannot say about himself after signing into law thousands of earmarks...
More than 100 new boards, commissions, and bureaucracies come courtesy of ObamaCare. Somehow we have to believe that this government explosion will save us health care costs. It is no wonder republicans and the public say No...
Boehner and the republicans opposed the Stimulus not because of the tiny fraction that was addressing infrastructure, but because of the billions in union, academia and states bailouts loaded in it. It is not the federal government job to pay for the teachers and firefighters they are supposed to be paid by the States. If a university wants to go to Africa and take pictures of ants they better find private donations for the trip. Asking the tax-payers to fund ants on other continents is crazy.”

Pay for it? They pay for themselves by increasing over all economic activity as you well know.
However, we can “pay for tax cuts” as you call it by defunding as much of the $13.4 trillion in new spending the Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress spent the last 18 years saddling us with as we need to.
I wonder if David Gregory just forgot to ask Axel some of the pertinent questions or may he just ran out of that all too valuable air time...coffee spewing time again.
