Did you read where LBJ vetoed half of the liberal crap his Democrat congress sent to his desk?
LBJ’s downfall was the Vietnam War.

I lived through those years and remember them... vaguely, but enough.
I just don’t see parallels with Ubama...

...With one exception: LBJ set the table for Nixon’s “Southern Strategy”, and Ubama’s brazen agenda of back door reparations is not going unnoticed. That is, there could well be a serious racial component to the next election. The good news is that it will play out in the Democrat primary when Hillary challenges Ubama for the nomination.

Fasten your seat belt.

If Clinton wins, America is finished. Clinton is as if not more progressive then Obama yet is more dangerous in that so many people believe she is moderate (even on here) on certain issues. The belief is she would govern from the middle as Bill did - don't count on it.

Clinton is a devout follower of Alinsky and has perfected his "Rules" to gain, retain and grow her power.

Hillary, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky: "True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.... Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever it takes to gain power.

LBJ was the worst President, even more so than Jimmuh Carter. He was a multitask failure both on the domestic front and the military front. Yes, the Vietnam war was the immediate cause for his not running again. But we still live with the legacy of his failure for all the entitlment programs and social welfare programs he rammed thru Congress that were never paid for and have grown to massive proportions that we live with today and are no longer affordable. Medicare, Medicaid, War on Poverty programs most of which we still live with today are all his babies.
