I have MS. In states where medical marijuana is legal, some MS patients on the MS forums I read report they’re able to get rid of many of their symptomatic meds by using small doses of marijuana. I’m sure it’s much better on the liver and kidneys than most of the drugs we pop for our symptoms. Some of them smoke it, but many of them mix it into butter or brownies and ingest it, with the same results.

It does work very for that.I really wish they would do unbias research on it instead of starting with addicts and working their way back so that they always come to the same conclusions. It works for many many things much better than what the drug companies foist onto us.If I’m not mistaken doesn’t the Bible tell us that God has provided us with everything we need on this earth? :)

I was taking ibuprofen and aleve, plus a prescription headache med that contains the same ingredients as aleve (from time to time) for really bad headaches, and I was just found to have poor kidney filtration. They don’t know if it is from the use of NSAIDs, but I was told to stop using them right away.

The doctor thinks I possibly have MS, but I don’t have enough lesions (other clinical signs, though) for an official diagnosis. I have heard the worst of the bunch are the steroids. I took a round for a tooth problem and part of my gum tissue disappeared over one of my teeth- in 4 days of use. I can’t imagine what it does to your insides from prolonged usage. MM is legal in my state, but my employer forbids the usage.

I have a friend that has MS and she has a medical Mary Jane card. She makes pot brownies or cookies with low dosages. She uses them in between her intermittent MS treatments which knock her out of commission for several days. She says it helps her and that is good enough for me. It does not take her out for several days and she can work.

She also had an aunt who had chronic pain and could barely sleep. She made her some very low dose cookies and told her try it. She said she had not slept that well in many years.
