Well, I couldn’t agree more with what you are saying. As an atheist, I don’t care what your religion is (unless you are a Shiite Muslim, maybe). But obfuscating it or lying about it to suit your unknown political agenda or aspirations speaks VOLUMES to low character.
And character speaks everything to LEADERSHIP. I think we are all learning that ‘political party’ is becoming more and more irrelevant to the the integrity and character to lead the American people.
The people least acquainted with leadership are the most eager to achieve political power. We have had a dearth of leadership since the days of Reagan.
