I always remember that free speech means having to hear nasty things, whether anyone agrees with them or not.

I don’t like what this pastor is doing but I defend his right to do it.

And just to repeat a previous post...I find it very entertaining!

IMHO.

One of the few principled individuals have been Bloomberg. You can build the mosque, you can burn the koran. At least he is consistently on the side of freedom?

Agreed. Likewise, freedom of religion means having to tolerate sects with whom you vehemently disagree build their houses of worship along side yours.

I don’t like what this pastor is doing but I defend his right to do it.

I agree. I also am not too thrilled with the New York Imam, but I likewise defend his right to build his zoning-law compliant mosque on his property.
