The latest issue of Time purports to explain "Why Israel Doesn't Care About Peace." (Hint: Blame the money-grubbing Jews!) There will be earnest efforts to point out why this is nonsense, but they will fall on deaf ears. These days a defense of Israel requires stronger measures. And perhaps nothing could do Israel more good than for the United States to declare war on it.
After all, if you want to win the support of American academics, journalists, and movie stars -- if you pine for the approbation of the U.N. Security Council and NGOs the world over -- then you should get on the wrong side of U.S. foreign policy.

Ping.
Did you hear how some no name pastor in Florida threatened to burn the Torah to protest Jewish violence, and Jews all over the world went on a violent rampage burning Bibles and flags? The President sent the FBI to investigate the pastor, the State department issued warnings for embassies across the world, and media and people everywhere readily acknowledged that Jewish violence would result worldwide from that pastor burning a Torah. Obviously Jews are the problem.
How about burning copies of Time.

Ah, don’t sweat it. Despite all the agitprop, handwringing and high muckety-muck sanctimony, the Soviet Union is no more. “The wall” was torn down. Russia is free to export its own organized crime syndicates, beat up on former republics, and menace Poland again (sniff. choke. gulp. sigh. quaver).
If the academics, leftist journalists, pundits and pontificatoria hate Israel and love Islamofascists, I feel good about the future. If they start defending it from the United States and denouncing Isra-bashers and Ziono-phobes, we’re in big trouble. They’re the best weathercock that ever was created. Just look where the tail’s pointing, not the beak.
