1)We are at war with the Islamic world whether we want to admit it or not....and it is a very different war.
2) Like the Russians,Germans or Japanese of previous wars, not all of the enemy is evil.
3) Would our grandparents threw a hissy fit over the burning of Mein Kampf????
4) Our troops are already in grave danger...is there another kind of danger they should be afraid of???
You can best believe that this “crisis” has someone in government looking for a way to extend the scope of “hate crimes”. Muslims will become a protected “religion” while so-called “artists” will continue to be funded by the taxpayer to exhibit crosses in urine. Free speech will be further eroded except when the target is Christianity, which will be further characterised as singularly “bigoted” and “radical” and in need of close watching.
How do you think we fight a war?
Maybe we wouldn’t have to fight a war if we stood up to them. They attack because we are weak.
King Fahd’s newphew aka The King has major investments/shareholding in 4 of the 6 TV networks plus deals with the 5th.
Do you wonder why ALL of TV loves their Kenyan agent and Islam?
Americans gave up their liberty for a TV clicker.
Mrs. Phelps was just on a Seattle radio station saying they will burn it along with an American flag. This is just getting nuts.
The interesting thing is, Qurans have been burned and desecrated in other ways in the U.S. and other countries before. This is just the first time the media is making a circus out of it. The nut in Florida should of had an audience of about 50, and that's it. It should of gone unnoticed outside of that zip code. Now the media, if they are disappointed on Saturday, will chase down every burning they are made aware of, until they get the desired results - which is outrage against America.
This fight is eventually going to take place so I am not sure avoiding provocation while we are fighting them there is the solution. As 9/11 showed and with the growing illegal immigration problem, the battle has and will be brought to us if we allow it.
Exactly. They are testing the boundaries, and sure enough everytime they push, we move back. They’re not going to have to take over violently, the West is goimg to wind up surrendering.
What a conundrum this presents the anti-war leftist. Do they blaspheme the first commandment of multiculturalism and burn Korans to incite violent retribution against American soldiers, thus increasing the chance for a pull out, or do they reframe from the burnings and thus support American troop mission? Deep thoughts.
this whole event confirms two things
muslims are evil (yeah Of course theres some good ones good luck trying to find them though)
and americans are stupid enough to let muslims threatening violence trump constitutional rights
I always try to remain optimistic about americas survivial, but during the last few days the country has done more to flush itself down the toilet than I have seen in a long time.
Not burning those Koran’s is Terrorist Appeasement...and considered a victory “over the infidel” by Islamic Terrorists
I could care less about the Westboro Baptist Church or Dove World. But I hate Islamic terrorists worse and I see know reason to give these ignorant morons stuck in the 7th century veto rights of the 1st amendment.
I am beginning to connect the dots that we are enslaved to the Saudis without realizing it - and have been for decades.
I’m not going to question the judgement of David Petraeus but aren’t our troops already in”Danger”?
Great post!!!
The second sentence of my post applies to him.
I agree - f -em.
know =no
I'll question it. By even mentioning these guys, Petraeus made sure everybody in Afghanistan knew about this stupid church.
Of course they are, but there is no need to even to put them in more danger, is there?
