Democratic Dunkirk?
Democrats try to escape Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

We are now seeing the beginning of the political equivalent of the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940. This time, its not British troops escaping Nazi German forces. Its Democrats evacuating Obamaland, desperate to avoid identification with President Obama with their re-election (or election) on November 2 in doubt.
Okay, Im exaggerating, but not much. There is indeed a growing exodus of Democrats from Obama and also from their congressional leaders, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. And its striking for several reasons.
For one thing, the evacuees want their constituents to know theyve bailed out. They think it will help their campaigns and perhaps it will. At least five House Democrats are highlighting their votes against Obamas health care plan. And you can expect more Democrats to join this parade. Politico couldnt find even one Democrat whos aired a TV ad that brags about supporting Obamacare.
Another noteworthy aspect: Democrats in tight races are staying away when Obama visits their state or praying he wont come. Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin was absent from the presidents appearance on Labor Day in Milwaukee. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White didnt show up for an Obama speech in Texas. In Cleveland on Wednesday, however, a number of top Democrats appeared with Obama, including Governor Ted Strickland and Senate candidate Lee Fischer.

Navy and air force are on our side, as are average boaters. All they have to carry those retreating are the yacht clubs and the pot smugglers. Smart choices with the oil spill dudes; you could have have the fishermen on your side too!
A number of Democrats running for re-election are starting to sound like Friedrich von Hayek on economics and Duncan Hunter on immigration.
Hopefully, if this analogy is true, our commanders will not be satisfied with allowing just the air force alone the honor of delivering the Coup de Grace, but will send in the heavy armor and infantry to insure no one can leave the beach. No Goring promises.
A public lynching would make a sweet end to it all.
