I try very hard not to presume for Him, but I think some things are safely no-brainers. I really think that He wouldn't be burning books or ham-fistedly disrespecting another's religious beliefs, however wrong. Do I think he would speak on it? Ignoring that Islam is merely a radical misappropriation of Judaism that arose in the context of early Christianity, I can't see that he wouldn't speak about it. Certainly he had to have addressed the Greco/Roman religious structure that was predominant far more than any accounts we read in Gospels.
But I still don't think that He would be doing this, and given that this is being done in His name, I think the reference to His practices is relevant.
