“On Twitter, she wrote, “Koran Burning Is Insensitive, Unnecessary; Pastor Jones, Please Stand Down.””

An easier way would be to recycle the paper and if it comes back as toilet paper so be it.

Well, no need for Duncan Hunter to say anything, because he’s no longer in office and doesn’t have an audience or a constituency, save for one...LOL.

“the Muslim cleric who is running for parliament in Afghanistan is calling for the murder of American children in response to scorched Korans

I hadn’t heard this. That is extremely disturbing.”

Isn’t that a daily occurance in the Muslim world? Try going to MEMRI’s web page. The Koran burning is just another excuse for them to continue on with the same message. It’s hardly newsworthy when it’s preached daily in their mosques, TV, radio and print. It would be more newsworthy if there were a Muslim cleric preaching the love, tolerance and restraint. I personnally stopped caring about Muslim sensitivities on 9-11-2001.

You know we make out like Nazi’s and the right wing nuts of every persuasion are the only ones who burn books. This practice, usually carried out in public, is generally motivated by moral, religious, or political objections to the material. Has been going on From China’s 3rd century BC to the present. The Chinese, Athenians, Romans, Aztecs, English, Italians, Germans, Russians, Canadians, Cubans, and yes the Americans just to name a few have all burned books. The Christians, Jews, Muslims, Quakers, and all sorts of Governments have burnt books. This is far more important to me: Psa 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
