Well, yes, I think it is quite the understatement that the asian carp should have been dealt before they were, what, a couple of miles from the Great Lakes via the Chicago River.
People simply aren’t paying attention.
I expected at that at least one voice would ask why we need a carp czar when invasive species are among the listed jurisdiction of the great lakes czar. Cameron Davis got something like a 20 billion dollar budget as great lakes czar and I haven’t heard a word out of him since. (He’s a Chicago homie BTW)
I’m also a litte confused why we would choose two czars from the two states with the least stake in the great lakes.
