No, Jihad and Crusade are totally different concepts. As any Hindu can tell you Jihad is a situation where the folks down the street can be Moslems and may well have lived in peace with their neighbors for generations. Then, one day, they just jump up and burn out the neighborhood to kill the Hindus.

I'd say they were exaggerating what happens in India except they're not ~ MILLIONS DIED in the twentieth century just that way.

Or, in its counterpart ~ the Hindus jump up someday and go burnout the Moslems.

The Crusades did not happen in that manner ~

Yeah, you’re right. The Crusades were a response, much like Desert Storm. Jihad is unprovoked and undeclared war on a neighbor who has a different religious opinion than you do. I get the difference and just fouled up trying to coin a clever phrase. Sorry.
