...people from Mexico and Central America just attempted to torch an apartment building 40 minutes ago so this is ramping up a few notches... 3rd night in a row... Their current excuse for taking to the streets is the fatal shooting by LAPD of a drunken Guatemalan, who was likely here illegally, was threatening people with a knife 3 days ago, in broad daylight... occurring in Westlake District, just west of downtown...LAPD is still on tactical alert. This area is nearly 100 percent Hispanic, with probably 75 percent here illegally, wiht the rest being home grown.
