Former President George W. Bush will be speaking at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum on Nov. 18.
As part of the librarys Perspective on Leadership Forum, Bush will be discussing his memoir Decision Points, which brings readers inside the Texas governors mansion on the night of the hotly contested 2000 election, and aboard Air Force One on 9/11 in the hours after the attack on the World Trade Center Towers.
The book also goes into detail about Bush at the head of the table in the Situation Room in the moments before launching the war in Iraq, and at the Oval Office during controversial decisions on the financial crisis, Hurricane Katrina and other notable events.

The interesting thing about this whole thing, is that when you came onto this thread, you were not bothered by the ugly ad hominems that Cheetah troll was throwing at me (and others). Maybe you thought his ridiculous accusations and personal affronts were funny. Maybe you thought that his saying that my parents were heavy drug users was "the truth." Who knows?
But the most amazing thing is that you chose to warn HIM about ME, when he was clearly out of control and spewing ludicrous accusations. It's almost funny.
As I said, no matter what kind of person you are, Pelham, (and I think underneath it all you are both intelligent and decent) you keep very, very bad company, because you have made the choice that the ultimate bad guy is George Bush, and everyone who respects and admires him deserves whatever any crackpot like Cheetah can dish out.
Situation ethics. All Bush haters practice it.
At any rate, should you ever decide that OBAMA is really the enemy, the vast majority of freepers will fight along with you to excise this disease from our beloved country. As long as Bush is your bad guy, you will be in the angry minority here.
Bottom line for me.....the next time you post to me, unless it is about how we, as conservatives, can get our country back, I won't respond. I have 'buried the hatchet' with others who don't respect President Bush because they have realized we are on the same side and we share the same goal.
I can easily ignore the handful of you who still don't get it.
“Funny boy! Like I said, you sure do dish out the funny comments, but cant take it when someone does it to you.
I still think you provide the comic relief on these threads. I always wonder what youll come up with next!”
NO it is you who can’t take it,Why are you here then and use this “Special” time to humiliate yourself on this public forum?
"red diaper child," "Mexican loving Muslim," "Great Religion Butt kisser," "enemy of America," "confused Mexican loving," "Mr Mathews," "Open Border Lefty," "Deaf, dumb and blind," and my very favorite 'truth'...your parents did heavy drugs before you were born."
Your hypocrisy and glaring double standard and distorted sense of right and wrong is stunning, Pelham. You cheer on a troll who is as nasty as anyone on this forum, and attack me, an honest conservative.
And therefore, your opinion that I am dishonest and nasty, while you find Cheetahcat to your liking in spite of his insane ad hominems, says everything about you that needs to be said. Your judgement is deeply, deeply flawed.
I'll accept that apology any time for your gross mischaracterization and misunderstanding here.
Any time you're ready to admit what you have to know to be the truth.....
I've never seen anyone in all my years on FR who lies more, nor more cavalierly than he. It almost seems pathological.
If you are a "bushbot" there are no holds barred. He'll say anything at all with no regard to the truth, so arguing with him is really a waste of time.
