“Lots of people here like a lot of stuff Ron Paul says. He should say more of that and less of the stuff people here hate.”

Well, well.... “Milk before the meat”, eh?

That could describe things said by a lot of extremist demagogues. I won’t name names, you’ll understand, won’t you?

So... you Ron Paul sign-stickers (in 2008 they sprang up everywhere around here like mushrooms after a rainstorm) want him to say only those things that might get him elected. Fool the electorate, maybe?

Wasn’t that the same strategy as... Obama’s?

You Paulistas are the same zombie like followers then as you are now.

No. There’s no fooling anybody. There are likely a lot of Republicans out there with a #1 priority of Limited Constitutional Government. And Ron Paul does have the best track record of voting for Limited Constitutional Government.
No one even comes close.

If Ron Paul only talked about Limited Contitutional Government, a lot of people would really like him.

But he doesn’t. Most Freepers do not like his foreign policy one bit. And he won’t stop talking about it. We got it, Ron, you’re not happy with the wars and the such.

So the more he talks about it, the more people here think he’s all about that stuff. And he’s really not, or he really wasn’t back in 2007 and, especially, before that.

Everybody already knows he’s against the war, so it wouldn’t be tricking people to shut up and focus on cutting government.

About the Ron Paul sign stickers: no, they want him to talk about the war. That’s why Ron Paul is talking about the war. Many of his supporters, the ones who didn’t know who he was when he announced, got all excited about his antiwar, and are still there. Many of the Republicans who’ve known RP for a while and supported him aren’t really focused on him right now. They aren’t the ones breathlessly awaiting whether or not he’ll run in 2012, they’re the ones interested in backing the conservatives in 2010, people like Christine.
