His position transforms a fundamental, God-given right into a privilege that can be granted or taken away whenever a state legislature feels like it.

If you wanted to honestly discuss Ron Paul’s abortion postition - and I’m not saying your abortion position is bad or wrong - you could say that Ron Paul’s pro-life position is bad or his pro-life postition doesn’t go far enough. You could say his position on abortion is bad, wrong or doesn’t go far enough. But everyone (90%) understands that Ron Paul has a pro-life postition, but maybe not the best one.
