NEWSWEEK published a bogus story about a Koran being flushed down a toilet by authorities at the Guantanamo detention facility. People died in the ensuing riots in the Middle East before NEWSWEEK could print a retraction.

It sounds like the only ones responsible for any violence are those in the media who chose to report it.

Again, this would hold true for whatever these people did by burning Korans.

It was the messenger who paid to broadcast it to the world, such that offended people would know about it.

As for those burning the Koran, I say let them do so. In the US, that is one of our basic rights, as we already know that in their countries that burning the American flag and Holy Bibles is okay.
