I havent been corrected at all. I said he was killed, meaning his son, I am correct he was at a white supremacist meeting and agreed to sell guns to who he thought was a white supremacist. He did pull a gun on a deputy who had stopped him. He did endanger the lives of his son and wife needlessly and payed a heavy price...way too heavy. He was a tax evading, jew hating, white supremacist wanna be.

I agree some of the agents should have gone to jail for breaking the law, but I also think he should be in jail or at least served a prison term.

I find it funny you think all citizens break the law like he did. I dont. I wouldnt refuse to appear in court. I wouldnt saw off shotguns for anybody period. I wouldnt refuse to pay taxes owed. I would however protest too high taxes and vote to change the law. Breaking the law is breaking the law....period.

Funny, I read the agent was pretending to be a biker. Weaver sold two weapons, and then the ATF agent asked him to saw off the butt. There has to be some kind of entrapment in there, because Weaver did not initiate making the weapons illegal.

Even the Marshals wanted to give Weaver until March 20 to appear, but a zealous US Attorney instead indicted him in a grand jury.

And unlike the FBI snipers, Weaver did go to trial. He was acquitted by a jury or had the charges dropped on all charges but failure to appear in court. He paid a fine and spent some time in prison. Maybe you should read up on the case a little.

He didnt refuse to go to court. The original date was Feb 19. Then it was moved to Feb 20, but one letter said March 20. Weaver didnt go on Feb 20, and the Marshals said they should wait until March 20 to be fair. The judge said no, and a warrant and indictment followed. With these events, Weaver believed he could not get a fair trial, and then decided he would not go.
