The headline is misleading. I read three articles. Abortion was not mentioned.

I’m not talking about the headline, I’m talking about what he said, and of course the WORD abortion is not used but all the euphemisms and references are to it and the whole subject is the social issues, IE abortion.

Mitch Daniels called for a surrender on social issues, a one party “truce” where we drop the social issues, period, to quote my description “LOL, like telling the pro-life party to drop abortion as an issue?” Haley came out in public to support Mitch Daniels and to lend his leadership and influence to gaining success in that surrender, and of course to do what all anti-social conservatives do—attack Sarah Palin.

“When asked about comments by Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, a Republican, that said the GOP should call a “truce on the so-called social issues” to focus on fiscal matters, Barbour said he supported the sentiment.

A candidate’s stance on abortion “ain’t going to change anybody’s vote this year,” he said.”
