Not everything that we have a right to do is the right thing to do.

This is one of those examples.

It is because of my conservative, and my Christian, Scripture-based principles, that I oppose the burning of any book, and especially for the probability that this irresponsible act will put our troops at greater risk.

It is a BAD idea, which I completely oppose.

Deuteronomy 7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

“Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together and burned them before all men and they counted the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” Acts 19:19-20.
