Fred Thompson: Barack Obamas a dog on a fire hydrant
By: Andy Barr September 7, 2010 05:05 PM EDT
Former GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson on Tuesday compared President Barack Obamas treatment of the American people to a dog urinating on a fire hydrant.
Thompsons comment came in response to Obamas contention Monday that his Republican opponents talk about me like a dog.
Obama: some people in DC talk about me like a dog. Thompson wrote on his Twitter feed (@FredThompson). Maybe it's because he keeps treating this country like a fire hydrant.
Thompsons tweet followed a number of critical swings at the president's announced plan Monday to request $50 billion in additional infrastructure funds.
Obama to spend ANOTHER $50B on top of failed stimulus, Thompson wrote.

Thompson’s tweets are hilarious. It’s worth it to sign up for twitter just to follow him. But Iowahawk’s are excellent, as well.
I used to like you Fred until you sold out to that slime McCain.
Nope, it’s more like Zer0 keeps going into the corner of the dining room and taking a dump. Definitely has issues with household authority.
hehehehe
keeps returning to eat his puke too..
Funny. Now watch the MSM go wild over this. The truth, metaphorically or not, just kills them
I’ll never forget the “spitballs” exchange between Chrissie Mathews and Zell Miller . . . “Chris, don’t you know what a metaphor is”?
ROFL
Thats tag-line worthy!!!!
Thats tag-line worthy!!!!
MSM will never carry it
[...Cedeno, who had seven hits during the twin bill, settled the nightcap with a two-run double in the eighth. That gave Joaquin Andujar, a former Cincy farmhand, a 3-2 victory, his fourth win of the year and third over the Reds.
When Andujar stopped them the first time, Cincinnati Manager Sparky Anderson said, "Every dog has his day."
After beating Cincy again, Andujar was dubbed Poochie by Astro fans. Following his latest triumph, one Red said, "He treats us like a fire hydrant."...]
This is so true it’s... very, very sad. After I stopped laughing I had to go have a good cry simply because of the personal effects this whole mess has had on my family.
I heard Laura Ingraham on this mornings Imus show.
I don’t have her exact words, but being a dog lover herself and knowing the sentiments of other dog lovers she was saying how she felt that Oabama’s words were an insult to dog lovers because their dogs deserved to be treated better than Obama’s opponents are treating him. It was a hoot!!!
I really expected big things from Fred, but his lacklustre campaign convinced me that he didn’t want to be President. He gave up.
I was truly dissappointed.
I thought Fred was the greatest thing since sliced bread and then he just gave up.
Oh that Fred...he is a hoot!
Nice line. I lost respect for Fred when he gave up on tracking the the Chinese money in the Clinton campaign, and then also gave up in the Presidential race. I just don’t get his sporadic enthusiasm and then rapid exit from the fight.
Get er done Fred!
Screw Fred. He was nothing but a set up man for Mcpain. I sent him $300 bucks and washed it down the drain. He IS part of th establishment that needs flushed.
