Last week a national treasure was condemned and, in the name of political correctness, modified beyond cultural recognition. I am, of course, referring to the USA Basketball Team Dancers.

Dancers wear black leggings, white T-shirts to respect cultural sensitivities during the FIBA Basketball World Championship game between the U.S. and Iran in Istanbul.

I'd be the LAST person to defend the Religion of Icky-Cooties, but the US team is visiting a backwards-ass country where male machismo is built on brutalizing women.

IMHO, they're obligated to abide by the host country's rules, however idiotic we may think of them.

Now, I'd be the first to scream bloody outrage if the roles were reversed and the U.S. was hosting and capitulated to a visiting Islamic team. I'd be the first to recommend dive-bombing Mecca & Medina with copies of "Hustler" & "Bigguns".
