I like my dog. I never criticize my dog except when she steals food from the dinner table. If our dear leader was treated like a dog, he would be loved by all.
I couldn't put my finger on what PO'ed me about his whining about being treated "like a dog" (grammatically incorrect, BTW. Should be "as a dog"), then I read your post. That's it! He thinks being treated as a dog is a bad thing, when for most Americans, who love their dogs, it's the opposite.
He must treat Bo like crap.
