Amid flaring political debate about a proposed New York City mosque near Ground Zero, there has been little commotion about the Pentagon's chapel where Muslims can gather in daily prayer near where a hijacked jetliner struck the building Sept. 11, 2001.
While the political debate grows over the propriety of building a mosque near New York's Ground... While the political debate grows over the propriety of building a mosque near New York's Ground Zero, there is no debate at the Pentagon's Ground Zero, where Muslims can gather in daily prayer in a religious chapel located near where a hijacked jetliner struck the building Sept. 11. (ABC News) More PhotosSometimes misidentified as the "Pentagon Mosque," the non-denominational Pentagon Memorial Chapel maintained by the Pentagon Chaplain's Office is where department employees who practice Islam can meet to pray.

The article is trying to say ‘hey, there’s an interfaith chapel in the Pentagon, so that’s the same as a mosque at Ground Zero. What’s the problem with the mosque?’
It is not the same at all. It’s faulty premise.
Exactly.
The chapel at the Pentagon is interfaith.
The Mosque at Ground Zero is NOT.
The fact is there should not be any site for muslims to pray at the pentagon. I view them as the enemy and trust me they view YOU and me as the enemy too.
You are right. We should stop coddling the enemy and fight the sobs. Their very belief is against every thing our nation stands for and has fought for....I am so sick of any defense of this muderous bunch that I could just throw up. lol I dont want any prayer site at the pentagon, ground zero or grounds of flight 93 whether they are interfaith or not. NO muslims!
All other faiths can gather there except one?
Tell that to the moderate Muslim who was on FOX the other day speaking out AGAINST the Ground Zero mosque.

Prior to the new chapel, services were conducted in informal prayer rooms or held in auditoriums and conference rooms.
There were always services at the Pentagon.

Ain’t we though?
if a muslim believes in the koran...there is no moderation. Should we allow satanist to practice too? imo the muslim “faith” is a dangerous cult that violates the human rights of women, children and calls for death to Israel and death to infidels. Tell me one good thing about life for women in a muslim nation and about freedom of speech, etc
NO non-Islamic nation which thought it could co-exist with Islam escaped being Islamicized.
You can’t make a bargain with the Devil.
Yet we cowtow to their every whim. America is doomed if we allow the enemy among us to thrive under our own laws.
Muslims and Islam is intolerant especially of other religions so why should we be tolerant of theirs in our country.
It’s about time we say no more mosques in our country until Islam and its followers learn tolerance of other faiths.
If they refuse, then no more mosque building in this country anywhere.
The muslims just burned the American flag north of Kabul with chants of death to christians. Peace loving religion? no, look at the deaths in the USA by muslims even before 9/11. It is okay to burn bibles, burn the flag, hang our presidents in effigy? if muslims want to assimilate into America and honor our constitution...like it or not burning the koran is legal. Muslims are not exempt from freedom of speech in the USA by non muslims. So, either accept our laws and right to expression or get out.
OK Einstein. I do not view the muslim faith in the same light as you do. The koran has verses in it that equate it with a satanic cult imo. Lt. Col. West is aware of islam. If you prefer to protect their “faith” as being constitutional when it calls for murder of jews and christians...I wonder just where you would draw the line. And congratulations to YOU for defending the undefendable.
