The Gov. can't help it. NYers still think NYC is the center of the universe. There was a young girl on FR a few years ago lamenting that she didn't know how people who lived in other parts of the country were able to make a living because they didn't live in NYC. She couldn't help it she as raised to think like that.

Here’s the reality people refuse to face...

The financial center of the USA is NOT New York City any longer... it is WASHINGTON DC.

The banking center of the USA is (guess where) -— Washington DC.

An argument can also be made to say that the CAR company capital of the USA is not Detroit or any other city, it is (you shuold know by now) -— Washington DC.
