I suppose that if I purchased a Bible and publicly planned to burn it, thousands of Christians would burn me in effigy, and I would get death threats from around the world, and the police would tell me to call if off. Oh, wait...To be honest, there are a few Modern Translations of the Bible that I would love to publicly burn. "The Message" comes to mind. That and the "TNIV."
