FR has far more than fifty members unlike this little church in Florida. FR has far more political influence than this little unaffiliated church. Members of FR speak their minds every day unlike this little Florida church. Ridicule of Islam and Muslims is much stronger on FR than this little church's planned Koran burning.

If Islam takes notice of FR and issues threats of violence against our troops in Afghanistan and the 0baMao administration condemns us will that be the end of posting criticism of Muslims here? You have obviously have never served in the Military or otherwise you would know that the safety of the troops are the first concern of the general

Then maybe he should let the troops chamber a round, instead of offering exceptional restraint medals.

Gen. David Petraeus said the Taliban would exploit the demonstration for propaganda purposes, drumming up anger toward the U.S. and making it harder for allied troops to carry out their mission of protecting Afghan civilians.

"It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort," Gen. Petraeus said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. "It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems. Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community."
