"Yeah man, it ... sucks," he said Thursday while sitting foodless on the McDonald's patio with a half dozen hungry friends. "I eat less. I have to get more money. If I don't have a dollar and I want food, I just end up going to a trash can."
There are other alternatives, like maybe getting a job, but in some cases, the trash can does seem appropriate.

How heartless of McDonalds. They should have a “street people” value menu where all items are just a penny. They can pay for it by raising the dollar value menu items for eveyone else to $3.00. Kinda like the Democrats.

Exactly, why don’t they strive to possibly WORK at McDonalds, and not MOOCH off McDonalds.
