Had lunch in the City the other day. They now charge a 2.5% tax for Healty Famlies, besides the 9+%
I’ve read for years, in the Washington Post, that homeless people are mentally ill and therefore, do not choose to be homeless. And walking through DC from time to time, when I lived near there, I hardly ever saw any disabled homeless people. So, it appears that some otherwise ably-bodied, sound-minded people choose to be homeless, rather than be useful members of society.
“The freighting thing is these people vote....”
Trucks, ships, rail, or plane? 8^)
One of those times when ,,,, “Spell Czech is knot yore friend!”
If Barry and Rahm could just levy punitive fines on McDonalds arguing that the calorie count is too high they could push McDonalds to the brink of bankrupcy, then they could offer them a stimulus buyout and takeover the company. The new Barry controlled McDonalds could then be utilized as a food bank for favored constituents. He could also introduce a vitamin injected biscuit to the menu that would save the nation’s health.
The remarkable thing here is that the S.F. Board of Supervisors has not yet managed to drive McDonald’s from The City altogether.
If you buy something off the value menu you get a receipt, at the very least you can get a value sandwich AND a beef & cheddar for a buck.
Exactly, why don’t they strive to possibly WORK at McDonalds, and not MOOCH off McDonalds.
A private business can set it’s own prices & it’s own menu choices.
Ha ha ha ha ha, that's a good one.
What’s sad is that a lot of those bums are 100% batsh!t crazy and need to be institutionalized.
The Union Gospel Mission would be a good starting point.
The Haight/Stanyan bums referred to in the article are almost 100% young white male skateboard/surf/drug culture dropouts. Not a disabled veteran in sight.
Time for these Obama voters to call 911! This is almost as horrible as running out of McNuggets....LOL
