Former President George W. Bush greets 3-year-old Sasha Poteat during a book signing event for "Decision Points" at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in the River Oaks shopping center on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, in Houston.
V.P. Cheney: "Two years after your tour at the White House ended, judgments are a little more measured than they were," Cheney said. "When times had been tough, and the critics had been loud, you always said you had faith in history's judgment. And history is beginning to come around."
Do you know what was going on in this photo?
Look at Laura's little finger. Looks like some comforting was going on here.
Sweet photo.
Very cool pics you’ve posted. It was so great to see the Bushes, Dick Cheney and Condi Rice together again. It looked like one big happy family reunion between them. It’s times like these I wished these “grownups” were back in charge running our country again!
Can we say—Gravitas-LOL
Thanks for the great photos, patty!

Loved all the photos; however, the one ohiowfan featured touched my heart — these two have such a special connection; it’s beautiful to observe!
More amazing photos of an amazing president!! . . . I’m just so happy that he is getting to see exactly how many people still support him (despite the best efforts of the far left and right)!!
(But you know their marriage is on the rocks, right?! :D)
I agree. It is one of the sweetest we have seen. I purposely didn’t comment on it....I knew that you and ohioWfan would notice the detail in that picture!
You know us well! :)
btw, aren't you glad WE don't have to "reassess" the Bush presidency?
We figured it all out a long time ago, and don't have to change our minds about anything. :)
Thanks for all the great links, DrDeb! Your research enriches our lives.
And yes. You know us BOTH very well. Hopeless romantics, DrDeb and I. :)
Exactly right! We know that OUR president will always be the
same honest and conscientious and patriotic man he has always
been.
It’s funny how we are wanting him to “beat” Clintoon, but
truth be known, GW could care less. He just wants the truth
to be told. Period. :)
Don’t I get included in this exclusive group? :)
We figured it all out a long time ago, and don't have to change our minds about anything. :)
I made a similar comment the other day. I love it that we got to enjoy and appreciate him in real time. All of our beliefs are just being reinforced...
And President Bush will be interviewed by Larry Kudlow on "The Kudlow Report" program on CNBC on Friday at 7:00pm (EST) Larry Kudlow used to work in the Reagan administration so GWB will be in good company.
