GRETA WILL FEATURE THIS EVENT AND LAURA BUSH ON HER SHOW TOMORROW EVENING (10/31/11) AT 10 PM ET
Thanks for the great photos — the Sough Koreans know how to treat a REAL president!!
You’re all welcome. It was well worth looking for these pics. Thanks for the heads up DrDeb - I’ll make sure to tune in to Greta’s show tomorrow!
It does my heart good to see them, because I see a man and a woman who are happy, relaxed and comfortable in their new roles in life. They always make people around them feel good about themselves, because THEY are so very nice!
Thanks for your hard work...you and Deb!
This is a wonderful interview Benjamin Netanyahu just gave over youtube and with Channel 2. Relaxed yet pointed...the host however dribbles over her words al lot...I think he made her nervous....wonderful to hear though as he’s so very relaxed...done in his home.

Laura Bush, the former first lady and author of "Spoken From the Heart," readjusts to normal(ish) life in Crawford, Tex.
GOOD RIDDANCE, WASHINGTON: There is a stark contrast between life in the White House and life at home. I didnt really know I was stressed until I moved home and wasnt.
GRANDKID PREP: We put a secret door from our bedroom that opens into the girls part of the house, in the hope of one day having to leave it open so that we could hear a baby or babies.
FAVORITE OBJECT: I have walking canes made by Roosevelt Wilkerson, a formerly homeless man in Dallas. He finds these great sticks and carves the Ten Commandments in them. We gave one to Pope Benedict.
CHERISHED RUG: The one I bought through ARZU, a company that an American woman started for Afghan women, to help them find employment.
COUPLES RETREAT: George and I do everything together, really. We read at the same time. We go to bed early and read every single night. We have all of our breakfasts and dinners together.
SIGN OFF: I actually just got a BlackBerry message from George that said, Where are you?
I remember when President Bush received the Walking stick when he was still in the White House.
This one cracked me up:
ON THE PRESIDENTS MIND: Hes always worried about our small lake that is stocked with bass, because he loves to fish. Theres always some concern: Its too hot. Its too cold. Are the fish not getting enough feed? Thats what he worries about.
(He has to know it, doesn't he??)
Think they need each other?? (Rhetorical question. :)
Thanks for posting that!
