The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
He is indeed, LUV!!
Love this. A great find!
Thanks so much for posting the links because I missed Greta’s show last night.
This was reall good. Col. Tillman gave a great talk - no notes - very natural, and amusing.
Thanks for posting
That was fast:

Did everyone get their Christmas card (via e-mail) from President Bush and Laura?! It is beautiful, just beautiful!
I didn’t get one, but then President Bush does not have my email address
Was only the other day when I posted that even if his current sales rate of over 41,600 books a day was cut in half, he'd still sell 2 mil before the book was out two months. So happy to see his sales rate has continued so strong it pushed him over that milestone in about 45 days instead of 60. :)
Take that all you Bush haters out there on the Right and the Left. The "cowboy" from Texas has the last laugh.
I was thinking about your calculations when I read the “2 Million” headline . . . Yep, the cowboy from Texas has the last laugh once again and I couldn’t be happier!!
I am posting this in link form only, due to the site, but please take a look: Where our last 4 presidents have spent CHRISTmas!. VERY TELLING.
I think the card was e-mailed to those who contributed on-line to the George W Bush Presidential Center . . . It’s a nice replacement for the White House Christmas cards that we were blessed to receive for eight wonderful years!
A spokesman for Crown called the performance remarkable, saying he could not immediately think of any other hardcover nonfiction books in 2010 that had sold over 1 million copies.
Sales are inevitably going to slow down eventually, but if it keeps selling at anything close to this pace, it will reach 3 million sold in another couple of months or so. That's really quite astonishing considering it's a rare nonfiction book that sells even close to 1 million total for its entire run. :)
In a fair world where big prizes are not doled out by Leftists, this book would win a Pulitzer, but I'm not holding my breath.
Of course, in a fair world where big prizes are not doled out by Leftists, George W. Bush would have justly won the Nobel Peace Prize. Look at Iraq today. They just formed a government, with their Prime Minister managing to bring all the different factions into his cabinet. They are making real progress on getting their oil production up to nearly the levels of Saudi Arabia.
Another all too frequent stark contrast.
Yay on 2 million! We knew it was coming soon.
Love seeing and hearing him in the audio blurb
by him about “Decision Points.”

We’ll always have him, and thank God.
(the next videos that play auomatically after him
are interesting .. ;)

Oh boy, they are going to make the MOST of the 4 years they have aren’t they? At our expense, I might add. Too bad they can’t manage to make the trip together - Oh, that would save us taxpayers a few bucks - nevermind. ;-(
What a loathesome couple they are.
Sorry to be negative on such a lovely thread. I’m dancing in my chair to think that our W has passed the 2 million mark in book sales. I can’t wait to get mine out from under the tree.
Merry Christmas to all the Dosers.
Yeah .. and he’s “so hated” ................./ NOTNOTNOTNOT!

Quality survives, every time.
Psalm 109:8Let his days be few; and let another take his place of leadership.
