A female patron who had been ejected from an after-hours dance club fatally injured a woman early Saturday after plowing her car into a crowd outside the North Philadelphia nightspot, police said.
The mayhem began about 4 a.m. outside Club Motivation at 2315 N. Eighth St., witnesses said. Shots were fired, cars were smashed, and at least two people were injured, one fatally.
Homicide detectives were still sorting out details late Saturday, said Lt. Frank Vanore, a police spokesman. He did not identify the driver whose vehicle jumped a curb and struck several pedestrians.
A 20-year-old woman was pronounced dead at Temple University Medical Center, and a 21-year-old man was injured.
No charges had been filed, Vanore said.
Eric Jones, a resident who was awakened by the crowd and went outside to investigate, said a woman had been escorted out of the bar and had gotten into a Chevrolet sedan.
A man smashed its windshield with a brick, Jones said.
He said he had heard three gunshots.
"I saw there was a fight, and I told them to get away from my property," said Jones, who lives in one of the few houses on the block.
The woman drove away alone, circled the block, and returned to the club, speeding, Jones said.
He said that she appeared to avoid a crowd that had gathered in the street, but threw her hands over her face as her car smashed into several pedestrians on the sidewalk.
Angry bystanders surrounded her car and kicked in its windows, Jones said. "Every weekend in that club, there's a fight," he said. The club closes at 6 a.m.
Police towed away several damaged vehicles Saturday, leaving behind broken glass and shreds of yellow crime-scene tape.
Club Motivation's awning proclaims the "best food and drink in town." Phillygaycalendar.com describes it as a "huge" venue with a 3,500-square-foot dance floor.
Telephone and e-mail messages left for Club Motivation's owner were unanswered.
I thought the only thing the homosexual crowd was interested in was interior decorating?
The sad fact is that homosexual couples have a high rate of domestic violence.
This fact is being concealed by the liberals and the MSM because it would hurt the push for homosexual marriage.
The only portrayal of homosexuals allowed in the MSM or entertainment are positive images. Anything negative such as this story is censored.
The story didn’t mention that this club is a lesbian oriented club. Yet apparently the orientation of the club is common knowledge. There is just a reluctance among the liberal news dudes to mention that little fact in the story.
Dikes are mean and any chance they get to attack someone in a display of their ovaries dominance over them will be on the receiving end of a fight, like it or not.
Watch out in clubs or bars.
Also - Bob & weave.
It isn't just lesbians. Homosexual males are also violent. There was a bar in Toledo in the 70's, The Lincoln, that was all male and very violent. It was not unusual to find a body, alive or not, in the alley behind the place. The medias portrayal of homosexuals as passive is a lie. Most of them carried knives in the 70's. And used them.

There's a lot more going on here than lesbian violance.

...I just Googled ‘Gay and Lesbian News’ and this story was omitted....I guess they look the other way with something like this.
In all this push for homosexual mainstreaming, my question has always been--"Exactly what does their sexual preference do to promote, enhance, or enrich the culture?" That goes whether US, European, etc. The answer is "nothing". In fact, it corrupts and destroys a healthy culture.
While there are homosexuals who have definitely contributed to many aspects of civilization, their sexual makeup was not a contributing factor. In fact, since they promote their own kind (only way of perpetuating themselves), it has led to the corruption of Hollywood, churches, and other parts of our culture. One of the great producers (Cecil B. DeMille?) said when he retired that he was glad to leave, as Hollywood was given over to homosexuality and violence.

It sounds like she tried to decorate the place with
several peoples interiors.
I missed any mention of lesbians in the article. Where did that come from?

AND, wear a cup-they go for the ‘nads.....
It’s like reading Pravda back in the days of the USSR. What’s not written speaks more loudly than what is.
No mention is made of the nature of this nightclub, nor is any mention made of the sexual orientation of the woman running people down, killing one.
Gosh, you’d think they belong to some protected group, to get such favorable treatment from the state propaganda apparatus.
My mother told me that between 2 and 5am good things rarely happen.
