Older guy takes on a mouthy young guy at the US Open.
C’mon. You pay good money to go to the Open, or any sporting event for that matter, and some incredible jerk sits there ruining it for you. You ask him to hold it down and he starts effing you, saying how he paid for his ticket so he can do whatever he wants and eff you, eff you. She actually slapped him and, by some accounts, he dared her to do it. And after she did, he said he could take anything she threw at him. Then the father ostensibly tries to leave to get security, and the punk either blocks him with his feet or effs him off. The geezer slapped the beer out of the punks hand and then the punk jumped up and that’s when daddy dearest grabbed his stupid head. What would you do if some punk effed your wife, daughter, or mom? By the way, it appears the punk might have been wearing womens’ underwear.
The video hasn’t captured the woman punching the man.
That said, I’m all for booting the three out - the younger one for disturbing the atmosphere, and the woman and the older one for taking the fight to a physical level.
However, I am inclined to punish the ones who escalate a verbal conflict into a physical one, much, much more sternly. Sticks and stones and all that...
After getting out from under the Geezer, the Jerk backs off and tries to remove himself from the situation. The Geezer's Daughter comes over and grabs the Jerk's shirt, the Jerk pushes the Geezer's Daughter away and down. Men try to subdue the Jerk and the Jerk doesn't know what is happening so he starts to fight and then quickly grabs the hand rail when he is grabbed by two men. The men are confronting him instead of trying to subdue him so the Jerk goes after the White Shirt Guy and then that guy leaves so the Jerk tries to explain the situation to the other subduers.
Judgement is for the Jerk.
