Reports are that the owner hates Sarah, so probably would not sell to her. Some Palin supporter should breeze into town with a sizable offer for the property in order to have a nice quiet place to write a book. Then sell it to the Palins at cost. If I was a wealthy person, I would do that.

This comment tells you all you'll ever need to know about this Palin-obsessed stalker's book. A slime job on a woman who is a practicing Christian, truly patriotic and very charismatic. Sarah Palin embodies everything the left hates about America and the middle class. Guys like Joe 'the stalker' McGinniss both loath and fear her because not only is she the antithesis of who they are (wimpy, atheist America-haters) but despite 2 years of vicious character assassination against Sarah Palin, she remains unbowed and unafraid. Note the stalker's snide remark about Palin running for president in 2012 "because God wants her to".

Unlike the clairvoyant Joe McGinniss, I have no idea whether Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012 but if she does, she'll have my vote and frankly, it would be quite enjoyable to watch the left's heads explode if she won. Their grip on political power is slipping fast and so is their control of the media, as the TV networks shrink, big-city newspapers die, left-wing talk radio fizzles and leftist news magazines are sold for a dollar. They are in panic mode and a Palin presidential candidacy would probably send them into hysterical, screaming fits.

Meanwhile, the stalker, McGinniss, will sell a few thousand copies of his Palin hit-piece books while Sarah Palin's autobiography 'Going Rogue' has sold close to 3 million copies to date. This, even though you know that every review of the McGinniss hit-piece book will be glowing and he'll be fawned over by all the liberal TV shows. No matter. Using Palin's name may help his book sales but it won't change the reality that Sarah Palin is authentic (something the left constantly attempts to disprove) and immensely popular - for good reason, she's 'one of us'.

The more that this clown, and the buffoon who wrote the magazine hit piece, try to tar Sarah as a profane, shrieking, vengeful dragon lady, the more they call up the exact image of the once and newfound darling of the left, and probable 2012 democrat presidential nominee, Hillary “Hell To Pay” Clinton.

In Sarah, such traits as Hillary has publicly exhibited, and which are thoroughly documented by sources who are named, are unacceptable, though they aren’t exactly cited as proof that she’s not qualified to run for president. In Hillary, though, they are presidential.
