I agree with you totally.
The Bible may contain some history and some biology and some astronomy. But its not a science or history book.
Its a moral and theological tome concerning God, man, and salvation.
But NEVER, NEVER post that in an Evolution blog here. They will crucify you - literally.
As my favorite Bible teacher says... the Bible is what God has chosen to reveal about Himself to finite. There are many mysteries left that He chose not to reveal...
