The Dow actually DROPPED in November 2008 after Obama was known to have won the elections.
The market actually started slipping in Jun-Jul 2008 when Hillary was out of the primary. I loathe her but the market expected she could be Bill 2 and stinking MCCain could be Bush 2. Once she was gone, the probably of The Imam islamo-marxist being in the white hut went up exponentially.
Smart money/capital started fleeing the US and the US equity markets.
