That’s a show I watch and was my first thought. I watch just to laugh at the hippies trying to run a ship. But it’s pretty clear the Japanese are really really pissed off at the Sea Shepherds and, probably, by extension Animal Planet (Discovery Channel). It’s definitely a “Let’s Hate on Japan” show.

Correct but this "Asian" fellow is an pro eco freak and probably loves shows like "Whale Wars" The Cable media are showing past photos of him holding "Save the Planet" signs and was arrested for protesting the Discovery Channel. Judge put a ban on him to keep away from the Discovery building.

His name is James Lee and his facebook page says he's an atheist, supports extreme eco movements, has an arrest record and is totally loony as froot loops/.

In other words: the typical liberal profile.
