You are welcome to do what you want. It is the legislating the rest to do the same that FReepers have a problem with.

The same crowd that is unwilling to protect an unborn baby is perfectly willing to mandate toilet tank size, manner of light bulbs you use (for energy consumption, not toxicity), thermostat temperature, etc.

Not saying there should be a law. Just saying, I use my bags and I hate the plastic crap that tears. If anyone else has the want to, they shouldn’t hesitate to do so.

Do you (all) remember the absolute frenzy the nanny-staters went through to push us to get rid of our mercury thermometers? Their pushing the far more toxic gaseous mercury into our homes is both ironic and hypocritical in the extreme.
