I got the impression that Skippy was spitting out any series of words that he thought might bolster his failing presidency, no matter how distasteful he found them personally.
He was trying to act tough, but failed miserably. And his disingenuous nod to Bush was hopelessly transparent, just not able to give any credit where credit was due.
He looked sour, dour, uninspired, unmotivated, angry, and petulant.
It took two glasses of good red wine for me to get through the twenty minute performance. And some popcorn.
Yeah he did.
But good red wine and....popcorn? What are ya, some kind of a....?
What are you, crazy? Don't you know that white wine goes with popcorn, potato chips, and cheetos? Red wine goes with pretzels and cheese crackers.

You did yourself a grave disservice to have even listened to this crap. The great reader of the teleprompter is pissed; He does not like this job one bit except the perks and is resentful that he has to listen to the complaints. Did not read the job description at all...he thought it was an American Idol contest.
