Which cost more: War in Iraq or Obama's (FAILED) stimulus bill?

As combat missions in Iraq come to a close Tuesday, numbers from the Congressional Budget Offfice show the total cost of the eight-year war was less than President Barack Obama's stimulus bill.

The total cost of Operation Iraqi Freedom was $709 billion for military and related activities, according to CBO numbers in its Budget and Economic Outlook published this month. The figure includes the cost of training Iraqi forces and diplomatic relations.

By FAR the failed stimulus and Obama’s fiscal (or what passes for fiscal) policy. He is destroying the wealth in this country, and the ramifications are going to be much, MUCH further reaching that the Middle East conflicts.

not to mention the “October/September” surprise/magic trick that his buddies (Soros and other leftist billionaire’s) performed on the stock market and gas prices to get him elected.

Yeah, well, SOMETHING happened by all accounts where nearly half a trillion dollars disappeared, and this has barely made a dent in the consciousness of this nation.

There is a malevolent entity out there, and Obama is simply one presentation of it.

Agreed, but the point the thread makes is that Iraq and Afghanistan, “Bush’s Foreign Adventure” as liberals call it, is NOT the cause of our economic trouble. The cause is clearly runaway government spending, which is what the graph illustrates.
